As the title says, I’ve kind of neglected my blog, and portfolio, so I’m taking the next couple of weeks to get it up to speed with some of my latest work.
I’ve been doing a lot of work for the band lately including, new Album artwork, DVD authoring and t-shirt designs. Need to get those up here, and have been doing bits and pieces for GrindScene Records, including Full Page ads for a local Music Magazine!
But I’ll admit, my main distraction is my rekindled passion for comics… here’s proof

I’ve been flat out over the last week or so doing posters for my bands up and coming tour in March around Ireland. Can’t wait for the tour to happen, but the crowds won’t turn up with knowing about it, so I’ll be whipping up my paste mixture and grabbing my brush to hit the streets with these soon.

The site is built using WordPress which allows the client to manage their content and add shows, posters and details about up and coming events with ease.
The Distortion Project is a Belfast, Northern Ireland based Heavy Metal gig promotions agency and record label.
Nice one! The brand spanking new Distortion Project Belfast website is up and running. What is the Distortion Project?
The Distortion Project is a Belfast, Northern Ireland based Heavy Metal gig promotions agency and record label. Formed in 2000 with a view to hosting fortnightly metal nights in one of Belfast’s newest night spots (Auntie Annies, on the Dublin Road, Belfast), we quickly established ourselves as gig promoters when we were asked to take over the running of “rocKD” (a shortening of “rock at Katy Dalys.” Katy Dalys is a pub/gig venue situated in the centre of Belfast).
That’s the low down on what they do, and using their new WordPress website (which means they can control all of the information) they can post about up and coming gigs, new CD releases and get a lot more exposure with greater ease, as before they had to constantly updated their hard coded website… yuck!

Originally formed in the late 90s, Interrogate have endured their fair share of hardships, but have come out the other side unscathed and invigorated.
Well, I’ll hopefully be launching the new Distortion Project (heavy metal promotions and record label based in Belfast) website tomorrow night, fingers crossed!
And just while I’m in a metal mood, I got around to finally doing the Cork tour poster for Liverpool metal band Carcer City, who are hitting our shores in April.
Check out the Belfast and Cork posters below, created using Adobe Photoshop – and a delightful soundtrack of ‘ISIS – Wavering Radiant’.

This is a site created for a singer/songwriter based in Belfast Northern Ireland. It was created during my placement year at nomoreart.co.uk.
Ross Alexander is a singer/songwriter who loves, and hates, everything about being a singer/songwriter. This love/hate relationship with music causes a constant flow of genre contradictions in his songwriting, which is never more evident than in his lyrics.
So here it is the first stage of me getting my finger out of my arse.
I’ve had a portfolio site up since I was in final year university, so what’s that…like 3years, not updated nor moving…. yikes!!!!
So to get me moving, I’ve opted for a new wordpress blog/portfolio. I’ve used wordpress quite a few times on some of my projects, so I’m familiar with it, but as always looking to expand my knowledge.
Any way… check out my ‘work’ section for a quick look at what I’ve been up to.
I’ll be updating and adding when I can find the time.
Welcome to my blog and portfolio. I'm a web designer/developer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland -
This site showcases my latest web and graphic design work.
Enjoy.
